Since located on the second floor and above the offices, B occupancy, nonresidential; the ground floor in this case for the Covered Multifamily Dwellings becomes the second floor. The ground floor must be accessible via a ramp or elevator. An elevator is required to access the dwelling units on the second floor.
Each unit on the second floor must be designed to be adaptable (now that they are on an accessible floor)
Chapter 11A applies to the Covered Dwelling Units on the second floor. Chapter 10 would not apply (accessibility wise) in this case.
