Glass and steel enclosure over hotel courtyard pool.

The owner of an existing 3 story hotel with an existing pool in the courtyard (surrounded on four sides by the hotel) wants to add a permanent steel framed glass enclosure to cover the pool for cold weather use. I have done no code research yet, but wanted to know if this sounds like it would be tough to get to work code wise and where I should start the research for it. The enclosure would be within 20' of the exterior wall of the hotel on 3 sides. What should I look for that might create problems in permitting something like this.

In essence, they are creating an atrium. Therefore, they need to conform to the requirements for an atrium in Section 404 of the IBC.

In addition, there are special non-code-related requirements for indoor pools to overcome moisture and corrosion that are inherent with indoor pools.
