Water source heat pumps

There are many types of WSHPs. They have the same characteristics, but are not identical by any stretch. They basically use water instead of air to condense the refrigerant. However, the water can be from ponds, underground loops or large chillers. Probably too braod of a subject to give general guideline. Most have many similarities to an air-to-air heat pump.
