Need some advice. 6 year old building with no interior roof access. Exterior height is 48' to a shingle roof, which has a wood deck. I believe they are required to have interior roof access. Building is four stories above ground. Mixed use as dormitory and administration area. Builder has convinced Administration that it is a minor issue because the building is sprinklered, and Fireman can access roof from street level. I'm making enemies by insisting that it is dangerous. Roof has underslung insulation
So sprinklers will not wet the wood deck. Fire could spread rapidly once it reaches the roof, and spread down the 360 ft long building.
I believe they have decided that I have become a nuisance on the matter.
Question: Have I simply become a nuisance, of is this a possibly dangerous condition? Any help would be appreciated?
